The main purpose of a website refresh is to provide visual enhancements to existing elements and content that already live on your website. Our focus is to improve what is already there, which means we use our design and marketing expertise to make small, calculated, technical changes that pack a powerful punch. We apply design techniques and tried and true design principles to make appropriate changes based on website visitor behavior, buyer psychology, and the goals and vision that you express during our kickoff call.

* Our Strategic Web Package is a high-touch, custom web design service that includes strategy, web design and Squarespace development, and launch resources. The timeline is approximately 8-12 weeks.

* Our Template Customization service (coming in Fall 2023) uses one our templates as a base. You choose your favorite template from our shop and provide your content, fonts, and colors to go into the layout and structure of that template.

If you choose to change your brand typography, you will be responsible for paying for any custom font licenses if applicable. There are also situations where it might make sense to begin a new Squarespace subscription (if you are migrating to version 7.1 from 7.0 or if you would like to take advantage of our Circle Member 20% annual discount for a year). Please note: you will not pay twice for a subscription. We have a standard operating procedure to ensure that you are not billed twice - we’ve done it tons of clients and are well acquainted with the process.

We always strongly encourage our clients to increase accessibility for our fellow humans with disabilities by purchasing this trusted third party plugin. Doing so is not only an act of inclusion, but also a smart legal move when it comes to ADA compliance. Lastly, we strongly urge our clients to purchase a Privacy Policy (required by law) and Terms of Service/Terms of Sale. You can find those here, here, and here*.

We also work on Showit and Webflow, but our Web Refresh Intensive is only for Squarespace users at the moment.

We have begun migrating over clients who are still on 7.0. Squarespace now has a new editor called Fluid Engine that is more efficient and client-friendly when it comes to self-maintaining a website. We don’t work on 7.0 anymore, as it is now incredibly time consuming and cumbersome compared to the newer editor. We can migrate your website over to 7.1 for a small fee, which you’ll see on the cart bump order.

We will be here to support you for 14 business days post-intensive by answering your questions and providing personalized walkthrough videos for your website. You’ll also have access to tutorials in our Website Wiki Tutorial Database that you can reference for 6 months after your Intensive ends.

Our team is FILLED with tech nerds. We love love love testing out new tech and improving the user experience through the use of third party plugins and integrations. It’s not the focus of the Website Refresh, however. If we run into any tech issues while refreshing your website though, we will notify you and ask about how you’d like to move forward (ie. let us complete that work for you for an additional fee or figure it out on your end). Side note: we perform website and brand audits that touch on this very thing. Ask about it if you’re interested.

The Website Refresh is purely visual. We’re very, VERY passionate about messaging, content, and website copy, but we would need much more time and space for strategy and custom solutions. We would love to work with you to hone and celebrate your brand’s brilliance through brand messaging and copy. The website Refresh is a simple, quick, and efficient service that includes only visual enhancements. We do not create new brand assets such as graphics, website copy, stock photo curation, or logos during a Website Refresh Intensive. You are more than welcome to request additional services as add-ons or after the completion of your Intensive.
